Mother is madre.
Mama鈥檚 boys, or in this case, mamma鈥檚 boys, are known as mammoni (and if they still live at home in their 30s and 40s, it鈥檚 because Italian moms are the best).
A common expression that uses the word mamma is Mamma mia!, meaning oh my!/Goodness!
