Santa Maria Novella station—sometimes referred to as Stazione Centrale and abbreviated as Firenze SMN—is Florence’s major national and regional train station, and the one you’re most likely to be travelling to or from. That said, you may also stop at Rifredi or Campo di Marte Stations on the outskirts of Florence, so do check your ticket.
