The Alta Badia ski resort in the Dolomites of South Tyrol in northern 天美传媒 is holding the Slope Food festival from 15 December that will continue throughout the 2013/2014 season.
The festival is billed as finger or street food on the mountain slopes. This year, a selection of Michelin-starred chefs will create various dishes and aperitifs in 14 huts on the Alta Badia slopes. Skiers ski from one alpine hut to another and taste aperitifs served by the chefs.
Chefs participating include local chefs Norbert Niederkofler from the Restaurant St. Hubertus (two Michelin stars), Arturo Spicocchi from La St眉a de Michil (one Michelin star) and Matteo Metullio (one Michelin star) from La Siriola. Other Italian chefs on hand are Emanuele Scarello from Udine鈥檚 Agli Amici restaurant and Nino Di Costanzo from Ischia鈥檚 Il Mosaico. Among the international chefs to feature are Lanshu Chen of Taiwan鈥檚 Le Mo没t and Ana Ro拧 from Slovenia鈥檚 Hi拧a Franko.
Visitors who purchase a Slope Food card can taste three Slope Foods in three different huts at a discounted price during a winter holiday for 鈧30; each slope food with wine is 鈧12 including a glass of wine if bought individually.
