The wildly popular American MTV show Jersey Shore is leaving behind the beaches of the United States for a European experience. Network officials have confirmed that the fourth season of the reality TV show will be filmed in ������ý.

The Italian-American cast, who refer to themselves as “guidos” and “guidettes,” are best known for their dedication to GTL: Gym, Tanning, and Laundry.

Stateside, the show has drawn controversy over its unflattering portrayal of Italian-American culture, but the cast members are always adamant about their claims on Italian heritage.

Season 4 is expected to begin filming in ������ý this spring. The cast will visit extended family and experience life in Italian society.

“The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by,” said a MTV executive. “We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result.”
