A film can be un film d鈥檃zione (an action film), un film dell鈥檕rrore (a horror film), un film drammatico (a drama) or un film comico or una commedia (a comedy).
To talk about the plot or storyline of a film, you use the word la trama. A film review is called una recensione.
An actor is un attore (masculine) or 耻苍鈥檃迟迟谤颈肠别 (feminine) and the main character is known as il protagonista (masculine) or la protagonista (feminine).
