Here are some words that could confuse you when you鈥檙e out and about:
La libreria is not the library but the bookshop.
The library is la biblioteca.
We hope you won鈥檛 have to go to the hospital but if you do, un ambulatorio is an outpatients鈥 department or clinic.
And if you鈥檙e in the country and someone says, 鈥淐鈥櫭 un鈥 ape鈥, there isn鈥檛 an ape coming towards you!
It鈥檚 a bee or it could be one of those tiny, three-wheeler trucks piled high with fruit and vegetables. They buzz through the traffic like a bee.
